The Fish People

Fish people were Humans who had been surgically altered by Damon to survive underwater. They possessed scaly skin, large fish-like eyes, gills and fins. The Atlanteans used the fish people to gather the plankton which they needed for food.

Sean and Jacko convinced the fish people to go on strike as part of the Doctor's plan to defeat Professor Zaroff. From "The Underwater Menace" 1967.

Doctor Who Fan Builds His Own Dalek

A die-hard ‘Doctor Who’ fan octor Rob Bosher, who has built a full-size Dalek replica all by himself, for himself. The 47-year-old, from Birtley, Gateshead. He has spent around £700 on the build, using off-cuts of wood and scrap or charity shop items where possible. The robot has a base of an electric wheelchair, with a joystick-type control to direct its movements and it is fully fitted with a voice modulator to create the trademark croaky Dalek voice. And it also has working lights and a moving eye, made from a magic eight ball.
