'Doctor Who' smashes BBC America's ratings record

Doctor Who smashed all ratings records for BBC America last week, being watched by almost 1.3 million viewers. The current series of the BBC's sci-fi drama has been given a massive push to establish it in the US, with the opening two episodes set and partially shot in Utah, with a massive promotional blitz in the country.

Even if you see a Silent, you won't know you've spotted it as Silence somehow edit themselves from an observer's memory. A lifelong Doctor Who fan is suing the BBC for breach of copyright after claiming to have created the evil leader of the Daleks - Davros. Steve Clark, 52, from Calland, Brabourne Lees, has begun proceedings at the High Court in London after failing to come to an amicable solution with the Beeb.
