so all they have to do is put you on another free port thats working but maybe they havent got any so they will have to bring in new hardware just for you lol
yes they do make it up, who normally understands anything about your internet connection at the exchange apart from those that have actually worked in that area ?
the exchanges used to belong to bt, now all the other providers use them and I have never had an issue with virgin who either use their own kit or sort the stupid issues out with BT themselves. Obviously things do fail when virgin are upgrading but i can accept a day offline to be rewarded with a faster connection the next day.
Funny, these guys put an Openreach socket on, last guy put a BT socket on...think there's so many departments in BT, they kinda mark their territory lol...next time it goes wrong might try virgin, do you have a number for Richard Branson?
BT hasnt got a clue what departments they have - I have them as customers and partners. Go for virgin if you can get it, I know when I move I'm going to have to move to sky and I'm not looking forward to that.
Happy birthday to us! Sorry nothing posted, over 24hrs without Broadband :-(
ReplyDeleteare you on BT then?
ReplyDeletemake that about 100 hrs wuthout BB. yes, BT. They said something wrong with the card/port thingy at exchange. The use big words to shut me up.

ReplyDeleteOnce they told me someone had stolen my slot...I really do think they make it up.

ReplyDeletethey also told me our master socket wasn't the master socket. Apparently it is invisible.
