David Tennant and Georgia Moffett show off his and hers rings after New Year wedding

David Tennant and his new wife Georgia Moffett were yesterday seen showing off their wedding rings just a day after their romantic wedding.
The pair were seen holding hands and smiling broadly at each other as they stepped out following their intimate ceremony, which was then followed by a raucous New Year's Eve reception.

Experience Wooden Royalty!

Great news for visitors to the Doctor Who Experience who will have the chance between now and the event’s final closure in February to get up close and personal with the Wooden King and Queen from this year’s Christmas special.

The stunning creatures from The Doctor, The Widow and the Wardrobe seem to have escaped from their doomed forest not to a new home as suspected by the Doctor but to the safety of the interactive walkthrough exhibition at London’s Olympia Two.

Now you and your children can be by wooden faces just like Steven Moffat, who was frightened by such wooden creations as a child (gasmasks, darkness, cracks, statues and now this…).

The Wooden King and Wooden Queen have been installed alongside many of the Doctor’s most familiar foes, including the Daleks, Cybermen, Silurians and the Silence. They will remain in their specially created viewing area at Olympia until the Experience closes its doors for the last time on the 22nd February 2012.

Chumblies

The Chumblies are the robotic servants of the Rills and although they appeared menacing when the Doctor and his friends initially encountered them, they proved to be helpful and effective machines.

Their primary function was apparently to help their masters communicate with alien species and they seemed to have telepathic capabilities, able to articulate the Rills' thoughts. But Chumblies also acted as probes, gathering and relaying data on planets which their makers could not easily explore.

The Doctor's companion, Vicki, called the machines 'Chumblies' but their original name remains unknown. Although they serve the peaceful Rills, the Chumblies are able to defend themselves with in-built weaponry, so if you come across a Chumbly on sentry duty, watch out!
