Skovox Blitzer

A Skovox Blitzer was a robot built for war, said to be among the most dangerous weapons ever created. A single Blitzer contained enough armament to destroy a planet. One came to Earth in the early 21st century and was deactivated by the Twelfth Doctor, who left it drifting in space. (TV: The Caretaker)

The Teller

The Teller was a large telepathic creature with an eye stalk on either side of its head. It was able to sense guilt and liquefy the brain through its telepathic capability. It was one of only two of its species left alive, and was forced to work under Madame Karabraxos and her clone Ms Delphox at the Bank of Karabraxos, as the other surviving member of the species was held hostage. Just before the place was destroyed by a solar storm, when nearly everyone else had fled the bank, the Twelfth Doctor freed the imprisoned creature and dropped them off together on a remote planet, far from civilisation so that the thoughts of other beings could not torture them. Matt Smith Cast in Pride and Prejudice and Zombies

Matt Smith joins Lily James, Sam Riley and Bella Heathcote, all of whom recently agreed to play the lead roles in Cross Creek Pictures’ Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, which is an adaptation of the 2009 Seth Grahame-Smith horror comedy novel of the same name, itself a parody of Jane Austen’s 1813 classic work of literature, Pride and Prejudice. James will play Elizabeth Bennett, Riley will portray Mr. Darcy, and Heathcote shall play Elizabeth’s sister, with Jack Huston and Douglas Booth rounding out the core cast. Among the producers is Natalie Portman, who was once in line to star before departing the project.
Pride and Prejudice and Zombies will be directed by Burr Steers (Igby Goes Down, 17 Again) off a screenplay by himself and David O. Russell, who, along with Craig Gillespie and Mike White, was once attached to direct.
In the film, “the heroine, Liz Bennett (James), is pressured by her family to marry into a wealthy upper-class home but chafes at the stiff social mores of Victorian England. Instead, she feels that she should help defend the countryside against the onslaught of a horrifying zombie plague.” We’ll keep Daily Dead readers updated on any further announcements.

The 12th Doctor

The Twelfth Doctor emerged from the Eleventh Doctor's explosive regeneration on Trenzalore, being the product of what his predecessor called "regeneration number thirteen" as well as being the first incarnation of the Doctor's second regeneration cycle.

Contrary to his predecessors, the Twelfth Doctor did not act out in a childish manner as a defense mechanism to avoid the guilty feelings lingering from the Last Great Time War. After assuring the survival of Gallifrey, he was no longer chained down by his guilt.

His personality shifted from frivolities to a serious and applied disposition. However, with his darkening nature, the Doctor turned colder and stoic, taking on many aspects likened to those of an introvert. With his emotions subdued, he became harder to read correctly, heightening the alien qualities he had in his previous incarnation.

However, this difficulty of understanding how his rationale worked could lead others to quickly distrust him. In extreme cases, the Doctor's unknown and unpredictable tendencies could generate fear, both for himself and his associates.
