Karen Gillan is stepping out of the Doctor’s shadow and into a whole new world. In her first TV role since the BBC show, the beauty is playing Jean Shrimpton in a drama about the swinging Sixties model’s affair with photographer David Bailey. And for Karen, 24, it’s a chance to prove she can be a success outside the Tardis.
