Steven Moffat teases new 'Doctor Who' companion
Doctor Who showrunner Steven Moffat has teased the character of the show’s new companion.
The next series of the show will see Karen Gillan and Arthur Darvill depart the show as Amy and Rory Pond, to be replaced at Christmas by newcomer Jenna-Louise Coleman in an unconfirmed role.And now, speaking in Doctor Who Magazine, Moffat has said that while the new character will "shock", there will be familiar elements. He said: "I'll answer you in the show about how it’s going to be different. But because it is going to be different. It's going to be a shock, I think.
